A Rough Patch...

Hi everyone,

Just a short note to thank you for your continuing prayers for Phil. If you felt an intense need to pray for Phil in this last week, I just want you to know that there was a reason for it. He was going through a very rough time and became very ill. By Friday, he was admitted to the hospital for hydration, blood and platelets. Within 24 hours, he was much better and was released and is now on the road to recovery. It's so good to see him smiling again!!

A new day has begun, as we travel on through life
The sun shines out our window, and our prayers bring peace in strife
Each day's a precious gift, each minute to be treasured
With friends and family, and a joy that can't be measured
Oh the things that we must face, can leave us gasping for air
But we know where to go, as we quickly turn to prayer
God is ever faithful, we see that every day
In all that He provides for us, if we watch and listen and pray
Let's keep our eyes in focus, so our hearts can be at peace
Surround ourselves with good thoughts, and God's joy will never cease
