Thank You!

Hi everyone,

We have just returned from church and I wish I could tell you that Phil has more energy than he knows what to do with, but that is not the case. We have all prayed for his healing, but we have also prayed that God's will be done, and we will accept whatever that is. His thoughts are not our thoughts and His ways are not our ways. I know that God cannot be put in a box and put on our clocks, so now we will wait and rest in Him. If He heals Phil, or if He doesn't, we can know that we have been obedient to do all that he has asked and that we will not miss out on a blessing that was waiting for us, but we neglected to ask him for it. Thank you all so much for all the prayers, e-mails, and support on this special Palm Sunday. We are going into the Easter week with joyful hearts and the hope that only comes from God, His Son Jesus Christ, through the power of the Holy Spirit.

I will share with you what I just wrote, and then I will rest....

Isaiah 40:28-31
Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary, and young men stumble and fall, but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Wait upon Him

We've brought our son before You, placed oil on his head
Gathered all around him, and prayed the prayers You said
Would surely heal the sick, and make the lame to walk
We're trusting in you Lord, your clock is not our clock
We've done all we can do, followed your instruction book
Bless us on this day Lord, please have Satan now unhook
His claws from Phil's young body, wash clean his blood that flows
Heal all his sickness, from his head down to his toes
We'll be still and we'll be quiet, and wait upon you now
We trust you'll renew his strength, as only you know how
Thank you for the power, that can be found in prayer
Though your ways are different, we know you're always there
Right inside our heart Lord, never leaving us alone
We trust you Lord, we love You, let Your will be done

Have a blessed Easter week! He has Risen!

Love, The Shore Family
