Home And Doing Well

Tue, 16 May 2000

Hello,

Just want to thank you for all the prayers during Phil's hospital stay. It all went well and he is happy to be back home again. This one seemed to go a little faster to me but when I questioned him about that, he said he couldn't tell. He just tries to zone out so it's all pretty much a blur. I don't know if that's the case, or if it really just does become a blur due to all the medication they give him. Either way, it's another one finished!  It usually takes him a few days of resting to start feeling better again, but he has plans for when he is feeling good....Red Lobster!! Some wonderful friends sent him some gift certificates for there and he has been counting the minutes, since he got them, to go and order the Lobster feast!! That boy has good taste during chemo!! :)

With all that they give Phil, while he's getting treatments, so many complications can arise. I know that your prayers help him so much in not having to deal with all of that. It doesn't make chemo easy, but it definitely makes it easier! Thank you!

Love, Diane
