Our Little/Big Guy is Here

Length: 21 inches

All is well with Mom and Baby, and Daddy and Sister! Labor was only about 7 hours, so things were moving along quite nicely until....this big guy was ready to make his appearance. He sort of well....got stuck....there was a bit of excitement and a prayers were flying as he was welcomed into the world. Big sighs of relief and gratitude were all around, especially from Holly! Before they weighed him, I asked the nurse if he was a big baby. (I had not seen him yet.) She said, "Big for her!!" Yes, he was!

This boy has "paws" on him that are huge, and his shoulders look like they are well on the way to becoming a Raider Football player!! Way to go Chris!! Chris is quite the proud dad, already having changed his first diaper ever. He said there wasn't anything in it though...so he's got great "surprises" to come! We'll be going back to the hospital soon, as Jackson's big sister, Denell, spent the night with us, and we're all anxious to get back and get our hands on our little/big guy!
